As we turn the page from winter to spring, we look forward with anticipation to all that God is doing at Elkanah, while looking back at what He has done. We stand in awe and worship of how He provides and sustains.

He has already provided a summer camp team made up of returning staff members and campers. We are excited to have our Dream Team and Program Team fully staffed. God has brought amazing members to these teams, and they are preparing their hearts to serve Him this summer, sharing His love and gospel with campers this summer. We need season-long counselors and guest counselors. Please be praying that God will bring those people to the team. If He is laying it on your heart to serve in this way, please let us know, and we can talk about the amazing opportunity that it is to share life with campers for a week.

Summer camp registration is live, and many have already registered. This year, we are going to look at how God provides an oasis in the desert, but then he asks us to continue through the wilderness as He continues to provide water and a path for us. (Isaiah 43:16-21) Please be praying for our speakers as they prepare the message God lays on their hearts for the campers, and that the campers' hearts would be ready to receive.

We are thanking God for the completion of our new bathrooms. We are so excited to share these with our guests this year. A multi-year project that could not have been completed without our amazing contracting partners and volunteers. Thank you to all who gave time and resources to this project. It is an amazing blessing to Elkanah.

As the dust settles from the bathroom project, we started making dust on a new project behind the shop. We are adding a vehicle maintenance facility to protect and service our equipment, and we have started planning a remodel and update of the Chapel. Stay tuned for more information.

This year, we will celebrate Camp Elkanah’s 70th anniversary in November. We are currently seeking photos and stories to share at our celebration. If you have a story or a photo you would like to share, please email elkanah@campelkanah.com

Work Weekend will be May 1-3, 2026. Join us to fellowship and serve for the weekend or just for a day. Projects on this year's list include a campfire stage, re-graveling the path by the Chapel, landscaping around the new bathrooms, a little painting, and many more opportunities to help us prepare for the 2026 season. If you are interested in leading one of these projects or simply helping with anything, please sign up here!
